Morgan starred in an informational clip Safe Sex for Men and Women on AIDS prevention and education. Part of the money went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising projects, and she also testified on a Congressional panel on AIDS awareness. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to substitute for him in AIDS celebrations and she's presented an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan co-starred in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next project sent Morgan to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film garnered one of its highest ratings ever.
